Summary
“Remember how Ravi said I needed to get laid?” Buck asks at last.
Karen gasps, her hand coming to cover her mouth in shock. “Buck. You didn’t,” she sighs.
“What, you—” Hen looks like she can’t believe her ears, shaking her head. “You slept with your future nanny during the interview?
“That’s highly unprofessional,” Karen adds with a concerned frown.
Okay. Well. Maybe Buck shouldn’t have started there. “No! I— It was before, okay?”
Hen squints her eyes, trying to understand. “So, this man turns up to your house, you say hi, you have sex, and then you start asking about his former employers’ references?”
Or: Buck needs a nanny. Eddie is desperatly looking for a job. They might end up finding more than they asked for.

Summary
Dear Eddie,
You probably have a lot of questions. I’ll get to answering them later. But first, let me paint you a picture.
Imagine a little child, growing up in the depths of suburban Pennsylvania. They have no real friends, only their older sister. They have plenty of toys that were once said sister’s, including a collection of Barbies.
Among these Barbies is a singular Ken. The child pays special attention to him. While their parents are wondering why the child isn’t obsessed with changing the Barbies into a thousand and one dresses, they take a pink marker and draw a birthmark on the side of Ken’s left eye. They keep Ken hidden from everyone else and only bring him out when no one’s around, to look at him long and hard, mesmerized.
If you haven’t guessed yet, I am that child.
____OR Buck just wants to finally have an established partner in field at the 118. He doesn't expect the new hire to be the guy he'd dated back in college, before he dropped out and came out.

Summary
Buck sinks back into the couch, a huge smile on his face. He loves being the center of Eddie’s attention, but more than that, he loves when other people are reminded that he’s the center of Eddie’s attention.
“Third of all,” Eddie continues. “There aren’t just a million pictures of Buck in here.”
“It’s a more complex bet than that,” Ravi assures him.
The gang finds out what Eddie keeps in his helmet :)

Summary
“Tell me your story,” Buck asks, once they’re all settled in his office-slash-living room. It’s become his go-to ice-breaker for new clients—how could he expect to plan their wedding if he doesn’t know who they are as a couple? Sure, he’s a romantic, but it’s also practical. It’s how he learns how to turn the big day from great into something magical. He sips his coffee, leaving his notepad in his bag for now. He wants this to be as natural as possible, and he can jot down his notes later.
Ana, the bride-to-be, smiles brightly, linking her fiancé’s hand with her own. “We met about three years ago. I was his son’s teacher.”
“She’s amazing with him,” the fiancé, Eddie, cuts in. He’s incredibly handsome, with his brown eyes and long lashes, perfect smile, and hair combed to the side. They make a beautiful couple.

Summary
Buck stands there, one hand holding up his towel. Then it hits him. “Wait… you haven’t kissed anyone before?”
Eddie blushes, spluttering, “No. Fuck—okay, I’ve kissed women. Jesus—I have a child, for fuck sake.”
“But, you haven’t kissed men?”
“No!”
“And you want to kiss me?”
“Yes!”

Or; Eddie loses a bet that tilts his entire worldview, and Buck—a really hot, twenty-six-year-old barista with curly hair and an eyebrow piercing—serves him his punishment for a week, which should be coffee for his colleagues… not a full-blown sexuality crisis at the age of thirty-three.
