The name slipped before he could catch it, dangling in the air like static. Nanaki’s breath hitched as he clapped a hand over his mouth, mortified over what he just did.
And Ushio—yes, Ushio, the one he was actually supposed to be “marrying”—just stared at him like he was mentally calculating how fast he could exit the venue, change his name, and transfer schools in one smooth motion.
AKA: The story where a mock wedding between two stubborn teens becomes more than just a school event. One slips up, the other stays, and somewhere along the way, something else entirely brews between them.
