Anakin opens the cupboard by the stove and brings out every mixing and serving bowl therein. He sets them in front of the drying rack and rolls his falling sleeves back up.
“You heard me,” he says.
(Anakin has gender questions, so he wakes Obi-Wan up at ass-o-clock to demand answers.)

Which is how Cody ends up spending a month sweating in the market in Mos Espa, tucked beside an elderly Togruta on a rickety bench with a multitool in one hand, a subspace radio in the other, and a skewer of hot, spiced meat caught between his teeth.
He’s no closer to finding this Ben than he is to fixing the damn radio.

As Obi-Wan looks himself over in the mirror, the surface level changes pale in comparison to the gold of his eyes. He tugs down the stark white robes and wraps a jet black belt around his waist, clips his saber to it. Golden eyes meet brown in the mirror as he leans back into his lover’s touch.
"No," he says simply, a smile on his lips. "It reminds me that I have you."
