Sungho’s breath hitches just slightly, but he hides it by forcing a laugh out of his throat, ignoring the way his chest pressed a little tighter and how his heart hammered against his ribs like it was about to reach past every bone just to grab on Jaehyun and tell him why didn’t you? Why didn’t you marry me then?

He’s desperate, pathetic, even. Dying of a nonexistent disease he refuses to name. He’s selfish and self-centered because he’s here at Donghyun’s sheets, head in his lap as he cries and cries and cries.
Donghyun’s hands came up to cradle his face, the gesture is quiet and heavy. “What do you mean?” he whispered, thumb drawing slow circles against Dongmin’s cheek. “Are you—are you sick too?”
He stared into Donghyun’s eyes because they’d been the place he’d learned to be honest, and now honesty felt like an unlatched gate. “I—I don’t know what it is, Donghyun-ah,” he said, voice small and breaking. “But it’s killing me.”
Or, Kim Donghyun has cancer. Han Dongmin is the one dying.

“I know,” He smiles, yawning again. “Maybe it’s because you don’t want to fuck me?”
Dongmin rolls his eyes, but the idea lingers. He watches as Donghyun pinches his hair between his fingers, twirling each strand into a curl that keeps its shape for him to eventually have a clump of curly hair that isn’t as frizzy as the rest on his head. He studies Donghyun’s position again, still decently tousled, and hums.
”…I think you’re right.” He says. “I don’t want to fuck you.”

Taesan looked horrified. “That’s impossible. I can’t believe it. He’d have to be an idiot to think that.”
And then it hit him like a train.
Jaehyun was an idiot. A massive one.
“Oh my god,” Taesan whispered.
Leehan looked far too amused. “Yep.”
Taesan has a realization about his longtime rival, and his already chaotic mind doesn’t handle it gracefully.
