Summary
The fates at work here may seem cruel. They really might. The person who seems to be the most deserving of a mate was denied one. Sometimes, however, they have a hidden agenda in how they do things. It is also important to note that the fates are women, and women are just tired of being oppressed and looking down on a world that disparages omegas, especially male omegas, worse than women are disparaged in the fates' world, maybe just maybe they have their reasons. Now imagine an omega who had been deprived of his alpha, not only any alpha, but an alpha who was so openly accepting of omegas. An omega that was dealt oppression and coldness and had to fight his way through life, an omega who learned how to swim in a tide that was hell-bent on making him drown. What could that omega become? And what could that omega give to a king of an alpha? Sometimes, the fates aren't as cruel as they are just very smart at shaping people the way they need to be shaped to make them perfect to ignite fires for much-needed change.
