Summary
Spamton thought it was the end of the world when he saw a beacon of light pierce through the summit of Mount Ebott and soar into the sky, not knowing that he had born witness to the shattering of the ancient barrier that trapped monsterkind beneath the mountain.

Spamton scooped up the power cable, puffing out a breath and rolling his shoulders as he eyed the outlet on the wall. The moment of truth. In one swift motion, he knelt and pushed the plug into the outlet, turning and feeling along the casing beneath the screen for the power button. A springy click… and then his ears filled with the familiar high-pitched electric whine of a working CRT.

Battat is there to work him through it, as is in the job description of being "Mike," but maybe "Mike" isn't enough for this task. After all, if he's such a big deal, why isn't he here to do his damn job?! Just who is Mike, huh?! And why does hearing Tenna say his name make Battat's heart pound and body sweat bullets until his Mike costume is soaked to the bone???
