He knows he should not be obsessed with the parts left unseen (too late) or his boss at all (way too late), especially after that cab ride, but the ink is also permanent in Mike’s persistent memory.
Or, Harvey keeps leaving Mike speechless. Until he doesn't.

There he meets a chaotic group of people who call themselves The Avengers and a mysterious boy with a scar on the right side of his face. Despite the warnings he was given to avoid said mysterious boy, Peter soon finds the boy to be the best thing to come into his life since losing Ben, and his name is Wade Wilson.

Bucky can't help but feel like he's forgotten something important, and he doesn't figure it out until Sam asks him to recruit Spider-Man to the Avengers. He knows he used to know the young vigilante's face, and the bitter hero before him isn't the same Spider-Man he met in the airport. Despite Spider-Man's insistence, Bucky knows that no one should go through a life like theirs alone, and he's determined to give him a fresh start.
And just maybe find a new beginning for the Avengers as a whole in the process.

Bucky, who once again looks exactly as tired as Peter feels, bends to pick up the cat, which, betrayal of betrayals, does not hiss at him, and gently leaves it behind the door before closing it. Then, with the most exhausted sigh Peter has ever heard in his entire miserable, disaster of a life, Bucky asks:
“What the fuck do you want from me? What the hell do I need to do for you to stop?”
That’s a good question. Two very good questions.
But Peter’s throat is tight, and he can’t possibly answer one without the answer to the second one contradicting it, so instead of speaking, he steps forward, away from that window. Comes right up to Bucky, smells the leather and maybe smoke and man, and does something he should probably think through for longer than five whole seconds.
It’s a compulsion. A disease. An absolutely humiliating, clawing need to be liked by him, and Peter isn’t one to speak ill of people, but Bucky can be a real, capital-D Dick.

Taako didn't know what he was thinking when he cast that spell. It had been in a panic, the only clear thought in his head being something along the lines of 'oh fuck shit please don't let me die!' Somehow it had worked, the Queen's guard construct falling under the charm, rushing to his aid and fighting off the shitty mugger.
It ended up working too well, actually.
Now Kravitz was stuck protecting this strange wizard, and neither of them were too pleased by this predicament. Instead of guarding the Queen's palace as was his sworn duty he was traipsing around the countryside, trying to help him find a way to dispel the magic. Getting tangled up in Taako's own problems, when all he wanted to do was go home.
At least, he thought all he wanted to do was go home.
It turned out, life outside of the palace walls was very confusing.
