Summary
Eddie Munson was prepared to spend the last stretch of summer alone—playing records in his room, biking through heat-hazed backroads, letting the long days pass untouched. Until Steve Harrington called.
In the quiet vacuum of suburban heat; amidst cheap beer, lazy afternoons, and flickering VHS tapes, the two boys circle each other carefully. Clumsily, suspended between friendship and the quiet, electric possibility of something more. As Steve draws Eddie into his world—his silence, his contradictions, his need to feel something he can’t name—Eddie finds himself both transfixed and untethered.
"You been thinking about it?"
Steve's voice was sudden but careful."Thinking about what?"
Eddie kept his eyes on the pizza box he was folding. For a moment, Steve said nothing.
"Oh. Your game."
"Yeah. Obviously." He exhaled."Same."
Steve's reply was almost bashful.
"Kinda feels like I've been thinking about it all day."Eddie nodded, tossed the box into a bag. Tried to act like that wasn't something.
"You wanna—do something again?”

Summary
“So are we doing this then?”
Eddie narrows his eyes.
Okay. Fine. Skipping foreplay, sure.
“Doing what, Harrington?”
Irritation flickers across Steve’s features as he steps forward again, still breathing hard and unevenly. Still red in the face.
“You’re really going to make me say it?” he whispers. “You want me to ask?”
“No,” Eddie grins, reaching up to tug at the red ascot tied around his stupid little sailor shirt. He leans in closer, hooking a finger into the waistband of his stupid little sailor shorts. His lips brush the shell of Steve’s ear as he speaks, voice pitched soft and low.
“You’re not going to ask. You’re going to beg.”—
Eddie spends his summer learning things about himself – such as the fact that the only thing he enjoys about his dreary summer job at the mall comes in the form of one Steve Harrington: fallen from grace, suited up in a borderline indecent uniform, easy to torment, and wound tighter than a drum.
Steve spends his summer learning things about himself as a result of Eddie’s habitual tormenting.Bookmarked by strawberrysolitude

Summary
“Aren’t you glad I rolled so high?” Steve grins. “Pick another one. Another die. Actually…”
He leans back over Eddie’s thighs again, straddling him and humming as if deep in thought. Eddie glances down, and curses under his breath - he can see a damp patch in one spot over Steve’s jeans, his dick straining against the fabric.
Steve is into this.
Fuck. He’s getting off on it.
On Eddie begging.

Summary
Steve just moans at that, palming himself through his jeans. “Fuck,” he hisses, “yeah. Okay. I can show you. Need me to show you how, right? Need me to teach you?”
Eddie nods. The world feels sticky, syrupy slow. Like he’s stuck in honey. Feels good, sliding back off Steve’s lap. Off the bed, onto the floor. Onto his knees. He looks up, and Steve looks down at him.
Feels really, really good.
“Look at you,” Steve whispers. “You’re so sweet.”

Summary
Steve makes a face at Eddie. “You've imagined doing stuff with a guy?”
“Yeah, man,” Eddie replies, spreading his hands wide. “Doesn't everyone?”
Steve tilts his head to the side as he thinks. Maybe not very often, but his freshman year when Davey Riggs had been swim team captain? Yeah, he had definitely imagined some stuff that had made trips to the locker room kinda awkward.
“Yeah, that's true,” Steve answers, nodding. “I wonder why everybody acts like it's so gross, though.”
In the summer of 1986, Steve and Eddie have some perfectly normal fun between a couple of perfectly normal dudes.
