On the title page, beneath the printed words Written by Kim Dokja, is a neat handwriting (definitely not his, because his handwriting is horse shit) in red ink: For Yoo Joonghyuk (that’s me.)
Kim Dokja, creative writing major, left his manuscript for a final project at a certain cafe, where a certain barista he likes works at.
It shouldn't really be a problem, except that what he wrote is about said barista, who just had to be the one to pick up the damn manuscript.
Oh, isn't he just so fucked.

Everyone is curious about Yoo Joonghyuk, but it's common knowledge the guy isn't a talkative person. If you ask him about something, he might give a sentence or two as an answer, and that already includes a dismissive remark. Asking him about himself though? Out of the question. You’re lucky if you manage to pull an adjective out of his mouth.
But there's one thing — one name — that gets him to talk a lot, and makes his tall, mysterious, and handsome guy facade wear off.

Forgot I already read this and when I reread it, it still hits the same. Izuku's state of mind resonated and reminded me of how I used to see myself. Katsuki feeling heavily responsible for how he behaves, slowly realizing and coming to terms with the effects of how he used to treat him and holding himself accountable by confessing to his teacher, even when the price was starting all over again with his dreams. I think the horror here was when Katsuki realized that Izuku sounded like himself , real and raw with his honesty about how he sees himself.
Beautiful and devastating at once.
