Summary
Castiel and Dean Smith are a regular married couple, living in a little suburban town and working ordinary, uninteresting jobs. However, each of them is concealing a secret: Castiel was once a mighty seraph, an angel of the Lord who decided to fall for human kind and walk among them as their equal. Dean on the other hand is a retired hunter of the supernatural, trying to let go of his past and find a better life after having ended the demon who killed his mother. When a nice, blond, cookie-selling girl scout knocks on their door and unleashes the entire hell on them, the life shattering secrets can no longer stay hidden. Exposed to each other’s worlds, Cas and Dean have to fight to save it from the appending apocalypse, but the insecurities and miscommunication might lead them to lose one another in the process.

Summary
It’s May 1979 and the Order has just apprehended a pair of mysterious wizards who look remarkably like a Potter and a Malfoy. Naturally, James Potter and Sirius Black are called in to identify the strangely familiar strangers and determine their backgrounds and loyalties.
(This would be a lot easier if their captives weren’t convinced everyone they talk to is dead. It would also be easier if they didn’t spend half their bloody time bickering.)

Summary
This time, Dean didn't bother with a greeting. Once his eyes were open and his limbs were upright, he ignored the tightness in his chest to ask, "That dickbag Uriel know you're here?"
Castiel didn't say a word as Dean got out of bed and threw on his jacket. He just hovered like he always did, perched and waiting, and Dean made a face at him as he fixed his collar and went to fetch his boots by the door.
"No, and I would suggest you keep this between us," Cas said carefully.
Dean laughed. "Yeah, I bet you do."
Or, when Castiel raises Dean from Hell, his handprint bestows them with an accidental bond, and what starts as a decision to help Dean through his Hell nightmares, becomes an attachment neither of them is willing to break.

Dean can't allow himself the luxury of getting attached.
So when he spends the best night of his life with a man who calls himself Emmanuel, he knows right away that nothing more will ever come of it. It doesn't even matter that Dean's unable to really forget the guy many weeks and months later, that is just the life.
But then Sam ends up cursed on a hunt and after a long and ultimately futile search they find themselves with only one option left to save him: the healing abilities of an angel.
Namely, the Fallen One.
Castiel.
Dean's never heard of the guy before, but if he's really capable of curing his brother, so be it.
He is in for a rather big surprise, though, when he suddenly sees himself confronted with a very familiar face and soon enough his life is turned upside down in a fairly inconvenient manner.

Summary
When Cas Milton’s parents died in a car wreck, the obvious, logical choice was to drop out of college and pick up a job as the bartender at the local karaoke bar. Five years later, Cas is practically a permanent fixture at Happy Hour(s). He knows all the regulars and they know him, and he’s also served the hundreds of other one-time customers. He doesn’t remember most of them, until, one ordinary night, someone extraordinary shows up.
Dean Winchester’s just moved back to his hometown of Lawrence, Kansas from New York City. His dad was right about his writing career being an ill-fated disaster, and now he’s picking up a mechanic job at a local auto shop. When a blind date lands him at a karaoke bar called Happy Hour(s), he’s a bit more interested in the bartender than he is the girl he’s here with.
With loss, laughter, love, and some super cheesy music, Happy Hour(s) is more than a bar. It’s a home to those who frequent it, and over the years, it’s become Cas’s home.
It’s about to become Dean’s.

“We're surrendering,” Sam finishes their little speech. “We're giving up.”
Chuck nods, as if he’s thinking it over.
But the eager glint in his eyes gives him away.
“Okay. Dean, kill Sam.”

Summary
Dean should’ve known the Empty wouldn’t let Cas escape unscathed. It's not that he wasn't prepared for something with the rescue going sideways; he had kinda been expecting Cas to tumble through the portal human, weak and tired, maybe traumatized from God knows whatever the Empty used to torture him. Dean didn't care, he'd take whatever he could get of Cas with open arms.
He had not, however, anticipated returning with a suspiciously Cas-shaped child.
Introducing Castiel, new-and-improved Angel of the Lord, currently about three feet tall and a good few decades younger than his vessel’s correct age. Baby in a trench coat, indeed.

“Of course I’ll come.” Cas said plainly, like meeting John Winchester was the most undemanding thing Dean could ask of him.
Only then, he was able to bring himself to meet Castiel’s gaze, calm in a way that untethered him from whatever humanity he harbored within him.
“You won’t like him much.”
Cas chuckled, no longer staring at Dean with unsettling intensity, but still close enough for Dean to feel his breath against the crook of his neck.
