Summary
Life-altering injury ends Soap's military career. Ghost resumes active duty despite expressing his willingness to step down in order to be by Soap's side. Soap is against it - he knows Ghost belongs out in the field and is needed there. After the initial recovery period, Soap believes he is ready for their new life, but with global conflict on the horizon, Ghost is swiftly deployed for an indefinite period of time. Soap is not without support, but he still has many battles to fight.
