Summary
Morticia's lips curved faintly.
“I must admit,” she said, tilting her head, “I was surprised by this… prompt visit. In such company. It’s rather unexpected of you, of all people.”
"I have always been fond of efficiency," Wednesday answered smoothly. "Why delay what is bound to happen?"
Her tone was calm, but there was steel beneath it. She would not be pulled apart, not here.
Morticia studied her for a beat longer.
Fine then. The long game.
Morticia is usually able to predict what will happen.
So when her daughter Wednesday unexpectedly brings her colorful roommate-turned-girlfriend home for the weekend, and Enid walks through the door warm, eager, and suspiciously overachieving, Morticia is certain of one thing:
Those girls came prepared. And if they think they can mess with her, they have severely underestimated their opponent. But intuition, for all its virtues, is a dangerous weapon to wield.

Summary
Wednesday is convinced someone is watching the dorm.
She starts training Enid for a possible kidnapping.
At first it’s just drills. Then it’s not.Wednesday stepped back, eyes narrowing. "Ready?"
Enid forced a grin. "I mean — sure? I guess?"
Without warning, Wednesday lunged.
Enid shrieked — high-pitched, genuine — as Wednesday slammed into her, arms hooking tight around her waist, dragging her backward in one smooth, practiced motion.
"Wednesday!!" Enid yelped, flailing instinctively.
Too late. Seconds later, she was pinned — wrists caught, her back against the cold wall.
Then Wednesday released her, stepping back with cool composure. "Dead in twenty seconds."

Summary
Enid's had crushes before—loud, fast, and doomed. But when a brooding new guy shows up, things start feeling strangely familiar. Her best friend Yoko is losing her mind and Enid is about three seconds away from a full-blown identity crisis.
It’s messy. It’s gay. And Yoko saw it coming from day one.
“No, Yoko. It’s vibes. Deep, sorrowful, emotionally layered vibes.”
Yoko picked up one of Enid’s stuffed animals and pointed it at her like a lawyer presenting a key piece of evidence. “You’re describing Wednesday. With a dick.”
Her friend bolted upright. “What?! No I’m not!”
Yoko sat up slowly, an unholy gleam in her eye. “Enid. That’s Wednesday. That is just Wednesday but with a worse skincare routine.”
