Two lighting strikes in quick succession; a deafening thunder shakes the building. Kageyama’s breath gets stuck in his throat. His hands instinctively clutch the mug tighter, and when a weight settles next to him, Tobio slowly blinks his eyes open.

He had acted on fear and sent the object straight through the stranger’s skin. The Nara looked up to the person’s face shakily before backing away nervously. He could not believe what he had done. He stared to pale, frozen eyes that were fixed on him. Their owner stood unmoving as black soaked the white of the person’s top.
“I – I’ll call an ambulance,” he said as he punched the digits, “I’m sorry, just…” but once he glanced back to where the stranger had been, no one was there.

Unfortunately, this also often coincides with being at a point in the attainment of that goal where it’s too damn late and you’re just gonna have to suck it up, buttercup, and get your shit together and do it anyway.
Tim is pretty sure this shit is absolutely not worth it, but it’s too late now and even if it wasn’t, Mama ain’t raise no fuckin’ quitter.

Tim’s quest to bring Bruce back from his Time-Travel-Super-Vacation goes horribly topsy-turvey when Ra's takes a more pro-active approach to keeping Tim prisoner, and he ends up in an alternate universe where he never existed, and everybody is disorientingly well-adjusted and weirdly obsessed with his “wellness”, whatever that means.
Tim hates mystical artifacts.

Everything burned, from the back of his eyes to the hollow place in his chest, and he kept running. He ran and ran until his feet ached and his mind couldn’t keep up and the stars stopped mocking him. He didn’t know how far he ran. He didn’t know how he got back home to an empty manor where no one greeted him and no one missed him.
He flopped backwards onto his bed and stared up at his ceiling. “I made a friend,” he whispered, and nobody heard him. The universe spun and spun, and Tim was lost to its endless spiral.
