Summary
Dr. Robby’s truck was somehow both fancy and run-down. Dennis thought back to the car his family had when he was younger. Piling in with his brothers in the back of a truck, balanced extremely precariously on the makeshift benches made of disassembled wood palettes. Having to squish between Junior and Patrick while Anthony grabbed his ankles so he wouldn’t fly right out — not that they wouldn’t pretend to let go of him, just to hear him scream. Driving down gravel roads to a steepled church, where he’d have to stand on his tip-toes to see over the pew in front of him.
What he wouldn’t give to smell that old building again. The damp, dusty odor was unpleasant when he attended regularly, but now… he kind of missed it.
“You getting in?” Robby raised an eyebrow, slinging Dennis’s suitcase into the back. He closed the bed door, waiting.
“Yeah, sorry.”

Dennis’s father is dying. This is a problem because he currently lives 1,000 miles away from home with no way to get back.
This is a problem because he doesn’t want to go back.
But when Robby offers, he can’t refuse.

“Sam, I really don’t feel… um, exactly comfortable. With this.”
Grian rubbed slow, worrying circles into the neatly folded clothes in his lap. A soft, blue t-shirt and black jeans, a couple of sweatbands, and black suspenders piled on top. And a pair of headphones.
A scoff, “Come on, Gree-on.” Sam uncrosses his arm, reaching pointedly to the inside pocket of his jacket. “I would really feel much more comfortable with my best friend around. It would be… less awkward for me.”

Summary
Mori had done it with the windows open. The entire city of Yokohama could see him do it if anyone had their eyes upon the tall building. Maybe the windows were too high up to be seen from the street, and perhaps the glass was stained with colours that made it difficult to see in or out, but it didn’t matter. It was a power move. A ploy designed to showcase Mori’s power. His power over the Port Mafia, at least. He spoke about the boss’s- previous boss’s illness. How he succumbed to his fever, his last words dictating Mori to be the new head of the Port Mafia.
“You’re the witness to that fact. Understood?”

Summary
When Dennis agreed to cover shifts for Dr. Mohan on the night shift, he didn't think he would ever end up here. Kidnapped from the ambulance bay, his head pounding, and having to save the life of a man with limited medical supplies. That was supposed to be it. Somehow, he finds himself snatched up off a sidewalk, in the stables, in front of his home. There were no sacred spaces when you proved your worth.
In the middle of it all, Dennis is confused by the way Dr. Robby and Dr. Abbot are circling him. The way they'd reach out and brush their fingers against his skin. The way they made sure he ate, got rest, and stayed safe. It made him ache with something he hadn't felt in a long time.

This couldn't be good. Nothing Chris wanted with Randy ever was good.
“Bradly.”
He looked over at Chris, dread already making his shoulders tense and his eyes wide. Chris smirked and got up from his lean against the counter, slowly sauntering toward Randy.
“I heard a rumor from someone on the other shift about you.”
Randy took the bait.
“.. Who?”
Randy continued after a moment of silence from Chris, who was still approaching.
“What did they say about me?”
Chris only stopped when he was standing directly in front of Randy, who was vehemently avoiding eye contact. Chris looks back at Jess for a moment, who giggles, before leaning in slightly.
“Well, Bradly, I heard that you’ve got a pussy.”
