The light from the fire crackled as it warmed him; blue eyes watched the bright flames dance in the fire pit of the chimney as his hand tried to touch it. How long has it been since he had felt any warmth? He doesn't remember the last time he felt so...at peace with himself, with life in general. After Dr. Gero kidnapped him and his sister and turned them into killing machines, life had lost its luster. He thought that they were lost and they would never find joy in the simple things anymore. After their mission of killing Son Goku, they were supposed to be deactivated and returned to the darkness.
He doesn't want to go back to that darkness, to be suspended in that endless emptiness.
A large, powerful hand rested on his shoulder made him come out of his thoughts with a gasp. Seventeen turned around and saw Piccolo's handsome face with a small smile on his full lips. The Namek sat beside him on his living room floor, a large mug filled with hot cocoa and tiny marshmallows offered to him.
"Marshmallows for your thoughts?" The green man asked, which made Seventeen chuckles.
"If you don't want yours, I'm totally stealing them."
"You don't have to steal them, pretty. I'll surrender them to you." Piccolo flirted as he took the spoon that was in his mug and began to scoop out the fluffy candy from his drink. The dark-haired man smiled; he loved sweets, he had a big sweet tooth as a child, and it came back when he became human again.
"I'm just thinking how much I missed life. The little things, you know?" He said in a soft voice. Piccolo grunted as he finished fishing for the puffy pillows and drank a bit of the chocolate goodness. Seventeen smiled at his mug and leaned to rest against Piccolo, his spicy, woodsy, smoky scent enveloping the black-haired man as he relaxed against his friend and crush.
After Krillin asked Shenron to take the bomb and destructive failsafe system from their bodies, Piccolo opened his home to the now-human androids; however, his sister in love with Krillin, decided to stay at Kame House. Seventeen declined for the moment, he felt that he needed to distance himself from everyone and everything. To process that he was human again, not a machine. To process his feelings for a certain Namek warrior that for some reason, since they met, had felt a kinship with the taller man. Even when they met in battle, Seventeen didn't want the man to be his rival but his friend. He wanted to bask in Piccolo's presence, and after two years of traveling the world, he landed in front of the Namek's house near his favorite waterfall and asked if the offer was still on the table. The Namek just laughed and let him in, offering food to the human and where to leave his shoes.
After three years living with the Namek, training with him and the kids, dealing with Vegeta since the Saiyan was always visiting Piccolo, and joining the meditating group that the Namek had with the Saiyans and his sister, Seventeen, never felt so at home. So cozy with his big green pole of a man.
"Goten and Trunks want to rake the leaves of our "backyard." They want me to pay them to do it," Piccolo commented, and Seventeen chuckled at the idea the kids got.
"I bet it was Trunks that came up with that idea since money is involved," Seventeen said as he sipped his drink, the warm liquid a balm to his soul.
"You know it, that kid. He's a combination of his crazy mother and his insane father. Drives me nuts." The Namek complained but Seventeen knew the truth.
"You love them, so stop with the fake pity party. You were gonna let them clean the leaves either way. You're a big softie." Seventeen laughed, and Piccolo growled at his friend,
"You want to say that to my face, pretty boy?" Seventeen laughed; he put his mug down and turned toward Piccolo, his breath caught in his throat. The man was so close to his face, he could feel the warm breath against his lips, the sharp cheekbones, the could see the smooth skin of his nose and brows, and those enticing lips. His dark eyes were full of mirth and something akin to love too. However, Seventeen didn't want to focus on that, didn't want to get his hopes high. He licked his lips and saw Piccolo trace the movement with his eyes as they turned even darker.
"I said that you're a softie, that you love those kids so much that makes you a big pile of green mush." As he closed the distance a bit, the ex-android felt a pull, a magnetism towards Piccolo that he couldn't understand. That he didn't want to understand, live it.
"Seventeen-"
"Call me Lapis. I-it's my human name." The man felt his cheeks grow warm and Piccolo blush a pretty lilac, they shared a shy smile, and the Namek cleared his throat.
"Lapis," Piccolo whispered, Seventeen moaned softly and crashed their lips together; his name sounded so beautiful in Piccolo's deep baritone. Piccolo squeaked a bit, put his mug down, and wrapped his arms around the slender waist, effortlessly set the man on top of him, and the man moaned as he straddled the Namek, never breaking the kiss. Piccolo licked the soft pink lips, and Lapis opened his mouth, letting that long, broad tongue in. One hand cupped Piccolo's jaw and the other an ear; Lapis enjoyed the full-body shiver that the man gave as he sucked his tongue into his mouth. Piccolo's hands roamed his back, one hand settled on the swell of his ass, and the other one threaded his long, thick fingers into his hair. Lapis moaned at the sensation of those sharp claws scratching his scalp.
He broke the kiss and panted as he pressed his forehead against Piccolo's; he gasped as he felt the velvet skin of the antennas touched his flushed one and felt Piccolo's emotions. His desire, happiness, trepidation, his love for him.
"Yo-you mean it, Piccolo?" Lapis whispered, his voice wavering with fear. The Namek nodded and kissed the tip of the man's nose.
"I do, metal man. What you gonna do about it?" Piccolo's voice was deep, raw, his eyes vulnerable. None of the bravado that his words meant to give. Lapis smiled and hugged the bigger man, his arms curled around Piccolo and hid his face in that muscular neck, his body shuddering with contained glee. Lapis wasn't used to feel so much, especially after being an android for so long.
"Hey, pretty. You doing okay?" The panicked tone of his crush and the warm, broad hands caressing him brought him back from his head. Lapis shook his head and drew back to admire the man. He gifted him a smile and a soft kiss.
"Yes, I'm just so happy. I-I'm not used to it. To feel so...full." He said as he grasped his shirt; his heart raced as he smiled at Piccolo. The Namek returned the smile and began to kiss the creamy skin, his fangs leaving red lines as Lapis groaned, tilted his head to give the other man better access to his neck.
"I dreamed of doing this, of trailing my lips down your pale neck. Of having my hands on your ass, such a great ass, by the way." Piccolo growled playfully as Lapis moaned a laugh at those words.
"Me too, Kami. I want you so bad, Piccolo. Since I saw you." Lapis confessed as he tipped Piccolo's head back and kissed him. His hand cupped the shin as his tongue explored the wet cavern, licked the fangs, and sighed in absolute pleasure when Piccolo grabbed his waist and began to undulate their hips together; their erections pressed against one another through the jeans. The men frotted with strong, slow, and lazy thrusts, losing themselves in the sensuality of it all.
"You saw me years ago, Lapis. You're telling that-"
"Yes, Piccolo. I had a crush on you. I didn't understand what I was feeling at that moment; I spent too many years sleeping and being reanimated just for the sake of killing Goku; everything was a bit too much." He let Piccolo press him to the floor, the big Namek on top of him as they gazed into each other's eyes. Piccolo gave him one of his private smiles, and Lapis felt his cheeks grow heat up.
"Good, because you're mine now, Lapis. Not going back."
"Is that a challenge, green giant?"
"That's a promise, metal boy."
