When Did This Become a Routine?

Summary:

4 times Uruu and Homura forgave each other (and 1 time where everyone witnessed it)

Where they forgive each other with a kiss.

Notes:

THIS IS FLUFFY I SWEAR (except for when it's not, but I digress-)
These two will be the death of me, I love them so much
Again, not beta'd cause I need to post this so it doesn't sit in the drafts for another 6 months

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

“And with this, I forgive you.”

That’s what Uruu said after he had kissed Homura. So when did this become a routine between the both of them?

“I can’t believe you spilled water over my manga.” It was an accident, like most things.

Uruu just continued wiping down the counter. “So? It’ll dry.”

“The pages’ll crinkle! It won’t be the same!” The other was furious, his face turning redder than his hair.

“Well, that’s too bad.” He decided to move on to cleaning the glass cups.

It was common for the two to fight and the others just learned to sleep through it, each in their own bedrooms.

Homura grabbed Uruu by his collar. “Look at me when I’m talking to you.” Were they going to kill each other? Most likely.

They stared at each other with venomous gazes for a few seconds before the taller one gave in. “Fine, I’ll buy you a new one.”

Homura didn’t let him go yet.

The boy with the beauty mark sighed. “I’m sorry.”

Homura kissed him softer than he’d ever admit. “Then I forgive you.”

And with that, Homura went to bed and Uruu put everything he was cleaning away, grinning a bit.

Uruu was crying again. He had dreamed about his mother, remembering when he had found her dead.

It was late at night and he thought everyone was asleep until he heard a knock at his door.

The door opened and he didn’t even need to look up to figure out who it was. Only one person would enter his room without being given permission.

No words were spoken between the two as Uruu sobbed louder. He felt the bed around him shift with the other’s weight and arms around him. He continued crying into Homura’s chest.

Even though not a single thing was said, once Uruu stopped crying, he kissed Homura on the forehead.

“I forgive you for entering my room.” He whispered.

“Oh shut up.” The fire-head boy would be too proud to admit that he was blushing at that moment.

“You took my client!”

“You were injured!”

“I could’ve still handled it!”

Homura was making progress with a new client whose mother had just died and was about to get fired from her work.

However, he tripped on a sleeping Bakkun and ended up spraining his ankle. Uruu wanted to help the women and ended up taking the client.

“I need to find a new client now!”

“Oh, it’s not like there’s a limited supply of potential clients!”

The others already left the fairy realm, but these two were still arguing.

“The queen’s gonna get mad at me for not getting any attachment this week!”

“I told you that you don’t have to worry about it, I’ll get enough to cover for you.”

“I can do it myself!”

“I don’t want you to get hurt anymore, okay?”

There was silence between the both of them.

Uruu’s eyes started to water as his voice wavered. “I’m sorry, I know I’m selfish, I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he didn’t expect to be pulled into a hug.

“Shh, it’s okay, I promised you that I would stay safe, right? I’ll be careful, it’s okay.”

And with a soft kiss, everything was forgiven.

It was raining.

Uruu was chasing after Homura. One was crying. He was trying to run away from everything.

“Homura! I’m sorry!” That made the other stop.

“Sorry? Do you even know what you’re sorry for?” Homura’s back was turned towards his friend .

He was answered with silence.

“See? You don’t even know what you did wrong. Or maybe you did nothing wrong. You probably think it’s all my fault.”

“I don’t!” was shouted out. “I don’t think it’s your fault! I know that I shouldn’t have flirted with the client! I knew that she’d want more! But I never thought of her that way. I-”

“You what? Whatever you say won’t change my mind. I’m still going to run away. Maybe I’ll find a stable job here, pretend to be human.”

“You’re the only person that makes me happy!” he blurted out. “You’re the only one who makes me want to be better. The only one that makes me shy. The only one that I want to go to when I feel sad, you-”

He was interrupted when he felt warm hands caressing his cheeks, wiping away tears. He hadn’t even realized that he had started crying. The blue fairy was sobbing now.

The other kissed him. He didn’t need to hear anything else.

All was forgiven: the misunderstandings and the pain they had caused each other unintentionally.

Homura was handing out breakfast to everyone before school started. They all were kinda in a hurry, they had woken up 5 minutes later than usual.

They all took their first bite before one person started coughing aggressively.

That person was the prissy Uruu.

Homura was confused about why his food was so bland before putting the pieces together and realizing that he had given his boyfriend the plate with the hot sauce.

He frantically got up to get a glass of water while apologizing multiple times. Mixes of “I’m sorry!” and “please don’t kill me!” were shouted as the rest scooted away from the fairy in pain, not wanting to accidentally be the victim of a sleep-deprived Uruu.

What they didn’t expect the fairy to do was take the water and drink it calmly. “It’s okay, it was an accident.”

“I promise it won’t happen again!” The other was still worried that he might get killed.

“It better not.” He dabbed at his mouth politely with a napkin and let out one last cough before staring directly at the fairy across the counter.

“So I’m forgiven, right?” Homura let out a nervous laugh.

Uruu leaned forward to kiss him. “Of course.”

They forgot that everyone else was there until they heard a loud thump.

When they turned, they saw that Jyuka had fallen out of his chair. Ranmaru was just staring in awe and Takara began clapping.

Homura laughed nervously once again before running for his life. He was for sure going to be killed, but it was worth it.
