Chapter Text

He is tired.

So damn tired.

If confessing to Percy Jackson wasn't enough, Will Solace just had to stick his nose in Nico's business.

"3 days in the infirmary"

What did Nico do to deserve this?

Percy wasn't great at handling confessions; in fact, he was terrible at it. If Nico hadn't been on the receiving end of Percy's astonished expression, he would have appreciated the sight.

But right now, as Nico stood in front of him, Percy's mouth went ajar. The son of Poseidon attempted to make coherent sentences, but it was all in vain. All he could manage was opening and closing his mouth like a fish chasing oxygen. He still appeared as if he couldn't believe what Nico had said. Finally, Annabeth lifted her hand to give Nico a high five, which he gladly accepted and walked away from the couple.

People may think that Percy would be great at this stuff considering his popularity. They might even go as far as to believe that Percy would have been offended at the 'not my type' comment. Although, if anything, that guy has low self-esteem. He acted as if he found it hard to believe that Nico had like him.

Nico shook his head as he quietly chuckled. It felt nice to get it out of him, confessing and all.

Nico was starting to make his way back to his cabin when suddenly a shadow appeared in front of him, covering his path completely. Jason.

"Jason I told you I won't leave, now let me go."

"Really, Nico? That's awesome. How about you come to help me with the bandages in the Infirmary then? I think we can use some help"

Oh. It's not Jason.

The infirmary had been a place Nico frequented during his short stay at the camp all those years ago. At last, he was a hyperactive child who had just discovered his heroes were real, and that he could be one too! (This time even Bianca believed it. She had never believed that they could be pirates) ('They are criminals, Nico!' and 'Why would you want to be in the middle of the sea? Just thinking about it makes me sick.')
