Chapter Text
Aoi sat at the table in her mansion’s dining room. She was just finishing up her breakfast when Haruka, whose uniform was all wrinkly, ran into the room.
“Aoi! Why didn’t you wake me up?” The orange haired girl shouted before taking a seat across from her sister, grabbing the plate in front of her, and then pouring all of its contents into her mouth.
“You told me not to wake you up ever again yesterday because, according to you, I wake up too early for your liking. Apparently your liking is 3 minutes before I leave for school.”
Haruka nodded her head as she focused on biting and quickly swallowing her bacon, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes.
“I know you don’t have a lot of time to enjoy your breakfast, but you should really slow down there. You’re not just risking getting hiccups later, but you could potentially choke on your food if you keep eating like this.”
She gave a thumbs up as she devoured the last of her food. Haruka then put her plate on the table and took several deep breaths before speaking.
“Nah. I’m fine. Now that I’m done, let’s get out of here!”
The two girls stood up and then walked out of the room. Standing in front of the mansion’s front entrance was Heinojo Nagatsuki, the Kannazuki family’s butler.
“Lady Aoi, Lady Haruka, do you have everything you need for school? Including your Poketen?”
“Yes!” The two said in unison as Haruka tapped her left pocket and Aoi grabbed the device from in between her breasts.
“Would you like me to drive the two of you to school today?”
“No. We’ll walk to school by ourselves. Can you move over now?” The blue haired girl asked.
The butler did as requested of him and allowed the duo to open the door.
“Bye, Heinojo.”
“See you later!” The orange haired girl waved goodbye.
-A few minutes later-
The girl’s walk to school was uneventful. They arrived at St. Cherine’s Academy without anything interesting happening. Upon entering their school, a green haired girl who wore a yellow hat with cat ears ran down the stairs ahead of the sisters. She ended up tripping on the first step, dropping a plate full of crayfish that she was holding. The crustaceans began to move away from her in an attempt to escape with their lives.
“Nyan!” Haruka shouted as she and Aoi walked over to their friend. “Are you okay?”
“Ye-Yeah, I’m totally fine.” She responded, sounding somewhat nervous.
“Why did you have a tray full of crawed fathers?” The blue haired girl asked.
“I-I had to collect them for a science experiment in my biology class!” She said, trying to scoop up the crayfishes with her tray to avoid being pinched by them.
Before she could finish her task, an adult woman with dark red hair, blue eyes, and who wore glasses entered the building.
“Nyan? Again? This is like the fourth school day in a row you’ve brought a tray full of crayfish into the building!” She yelled as she approached the girl. “What are you even doing with them? I’d be fine with you snacking on them, but none of your other teachers have reported seeing you do that! If you’re not eating them, can I have them for lunch? Rice with crayfish sounds absolutely heavenly!” She said, a bit of drool coming out of her mouth.
“N-No!” The green haired girl shouted as she grabbed her last crawfish and ran up the stairs.
“Follow me, Aoi, Haruka. The bell’s gonna ring in a few minutes. It’d be best to come with me now before I get to my classroom.”
The two girls nodded their heads before following their teacher up the stairs. They quickly reached Ms. Saijou’s classroom and entered it. The duo then walked to the back of the room, where their desks were, and sat down in them.
“Hey.” A girl with black hair, dark brown eyes, and brown skin said. “You look pretty tired there, Haruka? Did you get enough sleep yesterday?”
“No! Aoi woke me up too early yet again!”
“What? I didn’t wake you up for once, and you’re blaming me for your lack of sleep? How ungrateful!” She joked.
“On a more serious note, I did actually get a full night’s worth of sleep, but I still feel tired somehow. I guess I’m just not built for waking up this early.” The orange haired girl sighed.
The bell rang, signaling the start of the first period.
“Quiet down, everyone, please. I don’t want to stress myself out over such a low paying job.” The redhead unenthusiastically said before standing up. “I don’t even have enough money to pay for anything except a cup of instant ramen.” She muttered to herself.
-A few hours later-
After finishing their mundane school day, both of the girls went home. Once the sun had set, both of the girls went into their room.
“It’s that time of the day again.” Aoi said as she pulled a blue object, which resembled a tomogachi from in between her breasts.
“Indeed it is!” Haruka pulled out a pink version of the same device from her pocket.
Without pressing any buttons, both devices turned on. Their light projected a chibi angel who began to speak.
“All right! Twin Angel! Let’s do our best to protect everyone! Time for Twin Angel Transformation!”
In an instant, both girls transformed.
“Okay, Aoi! Let’s get out of here!”
The blue haired girl nodded her head.
Both of the girls jumped onto their bed, opened the window, then jumped out of their room and landed on a building that wasn’t too far from their mansion. Haruka grabbed onto Aoi’s hand before the duo jumped away.
