“Ineffable Gravity” is a gift for Apidistra in the FTH’ 25 campaign.
Dear Apidistra, thank you so much for believing in me and trusting my skills. I really meant a lot. I am forever grateful for meeting you, and I am more than excited to explore the wide, creative potential of our friendship. I hope you enjoy your gift, as I crafted it with all my love and care!
‘Ineffable Gravity’ is also dedicated to the transgender community, who is currently experiencing rising levels of discrimination. The donation signed to this fanfiction was made in support of the Transgender Law Center. The fic includes a transmasculine character- to ensure rightful representation will be included, a long, detail research was conducted - through both medical journals regarding how gender affirming surgeries work and social discussion of forums like Reddit, in which transgender individuals were sharing personal experiences and what the need of the community in regards or accurate representation are. Since neither me nor Aspidistra are transgender, we also used the help of a transmasc beta-reader, who kept the writing in check. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if the text needs any sort of editing and improvement in that regard.
I would also like to express my undying gratitude towards the amazing beta-readers LutrasLutras, Raechem and EverythingYouDreamOf who were there to catch even the smallest detail. You made the process of writing so much more fun and interesting! I would also like to thank my gf, who provided important feedback and to Apidistra themselves for the flawless text formatting.
Plot Tease:
Crowley’s reputation precedes him- in the academic world he is known as the rebellious professor that dresses as a rock star and has revolutionized the field of Astrophysics. Invited by the Eden Trust foundation, he moves across the country to take part in a joint course that he will have to teach together with professor Aziraphale Fell, who specializes in Creative writing.
As Crowley had expected, his colleague is extremely annoying. There is only one problem he hasn’t accounted for- Aziraphale is also unbearably hot.
The fan-favourite trope of Frenemies with benefits returns, sprinkled with a little angst and drama; full of fun, sweet moments and with a hot, loving happy ending ensured. Rated E, no TW.
