3 years ago Wednesday Addams, former Mexican-American singles figure skater, 3 time national gold medalist, and fan favourite, packed her skates away and said goodbye to the ice for good, choosing to study at Nevermore university in solitude.
The charming, colourful, yet bloodthirsty and ruthless Enid Sinclair, Californian hockey player and medalist, finally gets a sports scholarship to play for Nevermore’s Ravens hockey team, leading her one step closer to achieving her dreams.
What she didn’t expect was to meet the smart, beautiful, and slightly bitchy Wednesday Addams, a familiar face from her past, who always appeared to have a disdain for all things hockey.
As a rivalry between the pair grows, there’s an unspoken tension held in stolen glances, shoulders brushing, and possibly some far too familiar locker room sloppy makeouts. As late night whispers are shared, Wednesday finds herself questioning her decision to step off the ice permanently, and at some point, both start questioning if they could be anything more than the touches and secrets that happen when the rink taunts them both a little too much.
