I suck at descriptions, but Peter moves to Hollywood when he's older to pursue videography, and in the process meets his idol, Wade. But he is more than he thought, the eccentric artist quickly becomes someone he wants to be around. And Wade? He may have not realized, but it was love at first sight.

    “Shopping for your Christmas gift of course,” Winn smiled easily, placing her hands on either side of Parker’s on the rail and leaning in. She had quickly shaken off the shock of her abduction.
    “And? Did you find it?” Though she couldn’t see beneath the mask, she was imagining that Parker was smiling.
    “Depends, are you a g-string or a t-string sort of a girl?” This earned her a laugh and a light shove

    Peter Parker was never bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager. Instead, he lost a few important people, grew up, and got a doctorate in molecular biology.
    At twenty-eight, he took a job at Engels Biomedical, an institute specializing in experimental cancer treatment. Three months in, he learns the samples he's been working on don't come from a corpse.
    They belong to a deeply scarred terminal patient, known as Subject 061, who is still somehow alive, existing in a limbo of incomplete regeneration.

    In which Peter Parker is already somewhat fucked up when he meets the mildly deranged Wade Wilson dying from cancer, and things proceed to get worse from there. This is an alternate take on the Weapon X thing.

    Peter has dedicated the past eight years of his life to fighting. Online, Peter is a hero, he walks into the arena and shines, he moves deliberately and lethally and is damn good at what he does. When he logs off and puts the VR headset down, Peter is struggling. He's busy and clumsy, he spends his little free time online, watching shitty sci-fi movies, or studying. The rest of his time is spent at lectures and working two jobs at minimum wage, still not making enough money for rent each month. But that doesn't seem to deter Wade who, for some unknown reason, thinks Peter deserves the world.

    Peter sprinted home. His feet thumped hard on the ground as he dodged around a rapidly approaching taxi. Maybe he should be a tad more careful but his professor insisted that they all stay just ten more minutes (much to Peter's (and the next professor’s) frustration). So now Peter was more than late and he had promised he wouldn’t be late for this event. He couldn’t be late.
