A seemingly impossible murder happens right under Robert's nose and he is determined to find the person who did it. The problem is, most of the current answers seem to lead him deep into the earth of a different planet.
The only way he's going to come out of this unscathed if he can bring along someone who can't see the instrumental thing that can kill people, and someone who knows how to get in and out safely.
He has one already, but he's going to have to rely on the help of a stranger for the other. And it's going to test how much he trusts in the kindness of one particular woman. -

Summary
Zooble works out a deal with Caine to allow the circus gang the ability to have sex, in addition to a bar being avaliable as a regular room in the circus. Zooble and Gangle are the first to get together, followed by Jax and Pomni. Ragatha gets involved in a throuple with Zooble and Gangle, but can't ignore the feelings she has for the other pair (especially Pomni). After some nights of chats at the bar, the conversations get a bit spicier. Jax jokes about the idea of having an orgy, but maybe it actually isn't a horrible idea? Maybe it could help the group get over their complicated feelings and get a bit closer.
(No Kinger involved in the sexual stuff, he's the group dad and a widower and I can't see him any other way)Taking place a few weeks after episode 6, ignoring the whole "escape the Circus" and Caine crashout arcs. The crew starts actually talking to Caine and giving proper suggestions and feedback. Things are mostly unchanged, but some tension between Caine and the group is lessened and Caine is getting to be more open to giving the humans more freedom

The woman’s face falls, consumed in her own thoughts. “No one can reach this place without revealing what they are in the darkness. What they are when beset on all sides by dangers, and by perils from within. What they are alone, in doubt, in fear. What they are when the glimmer of hope begins to fail. When the shadows consume them. I wait for the one who will pass through it unchanged."
Her voice pauses. She stares into the empty darkness.
"I have been waiting a very long time.”
Loki can feel his brother’s agitation before he speaks.
“But I was not changed,” Thor protests.
The woman fixes him under her sharp gaze. “Weren’t you? You turned a weapon on your friends. You made love with a monster, and with your brother, both at once and with no distinction between them. You were ready to throw everything else in your life away. Is that who you were when you entered these tunnels?”
Loki turns to look at Thor and sees his cheeks aflame, his eyes downcast.
The corners of the lady’s mouth turn up, like fishhooks. “I have been waiting a very long time, and my vigil is not ended now, by you. Your fate, though—what is that to be? Have you found what you sought here?”
Loki steps forward before Thor can say anything. “All we seek now is the way out. Safely, and not too distant from our own land, if possible.”
Her head tilts, considering. “I can grant you that. You have both endured, with great suffering. I can release you to the realms above.”
“Please,” Loki says. “We will be grateful.”

This started as a daily microfic series on Tumblr and became so much more. There are five stories in the series featuring these ships: Jegulus, Wolfstar, Pandalily, Rosekiller, Dorlene. They will be edited with new scenes added and uploaded in this order through the 'Round & Around We Go Series. All five are in the same world and run the full time span of three weeks, simply switching ships/POVs with each subsequent story.

Once we had a timeline together, we discovered that Franzel had seen Kip last, turning in for bed at twelve minutes before midnight, and it was not until Shoänie went to wake him at dawn that anyone knew he was anything but asleep in bed. This meant that by the time the knock on my study door came, shortly past the third hour of the morning, Kip could already have been missing for more than nine hours.
