Summary
None of the residents, nor their last minute cannibal reinforcements, truly knew what to expect from the looming extermination. The most likely outcome, unfortunately, was a long list of casualties that might even include the hotel's core residents.
One of their own being kidnapped by heavenly forces, however, was an outcome they failed to consider. To the point that an unauthorised absence was almost entirely unnoticed. By time the next extermination rolls around, the residents watch as Alastor himself is the subject of a thrilling television interview as Heaven’s first redeemed sinner.
On a surface level, it’s everything they’ve ever wanted. But it’s clearly the exact opposite. (Alastor just wants to go home, wherever that is.)

Summary
He spent hours poring over all the facts.
The strange desire to be close. The burning need for companionship in a way that clearly transcended friendship. The pitiful emptiness whenever they fell out of favour, and the unbridled joy when they inevitably made up with a hearty chuckle and a cheesy pun. It was new. It was fun. And worse, it wasn't normal in the slightest.
Alastor figures, in all his infinite lack of wisdom, that it must be love. (That's what his mother would have called it at least.) It's probably not, but given how they both reacted, perhaps that's for the best.

Summary
In one universe, Nathalie Sancoeur is caught off guard when trying to stand up to Monarch. In another, she fires her crossbow without hesitation.
This changes absolutely nothing, but it also affects everything at the same time.
Gabriel is still alive to make his wish. (He shouldn’t be.)

Summary
Marinette would’ve preferred to lie. It wouldn’t be that hard either. Lying to Adrien in the name of keeping him blissfully happy came naturally to her; whether that be over a misplaced scarf or the nature of his father’s grisly death.
Except she can’t. What Ladybug tells Adrien about his father is the truth— or at least one of them; things got complicated when there were two equally plausible universes.

Summary
Ladybug (also known as Marinette Dupain-Cheng) told the story of Gabriel Agreste’s final hours very consistently. He died like a hero, going out in a blaze of glory. Joining Ladybug during the final battle had been an act of immense bravery, and the whole ordeal was incredibly unfortunate.
Unsurprisingly, this is not true
Lila Rossi knows this better than anyone, and so would the man himself (if he had any memories, at least)

Adrien didn't have a lot to worry about growing up as the son of a Victor. Until this year, that was. Now, he and the sweet baker girl from down the road have been chosen to represent their district in the 74th Hunger Games – a vicious battle to the death using magical artifacts where only one tribute may survive.
Marinette has spent a year comforting her best friend after her sister died in the Hunger Games, only for Alya to be reaped herself. Volunteering in her place, Marinette now finds herself alongside her crush and his father as she truly realizes the magnitude of what she's signed up for.

Bookmarker's Notes
Words cannot BEGIN to describe the tingle I get from this masterpiece. This Hunger Games and Miraculous Fusion is a perfect mix of the book and the movie, blending together various factors along with MLB canon to create a true-to-world adaptation.
With the final chapters nearing, I can not recommend this enough. It reignited a long settled hyper-fixation, and had me absolutely feral in the first few weeks. If you were in the discord server with the authors, you would’ve seen that, lol. I was RIFE with theories.
Very little knowledge of the Hunger Games series is required if you’re in it for the MLB content, as they explain everything brilliantly while laying enough insider references that avid fans will immediately notice and get a kick out of it. Whether that be through niche parallels or word for word call backs.
It keeps the MLB charm, with similar dynamics and powers, while also remaining a realistic Hunger Games fic nonetheless. I will ALWAYS big this up to other people; it’s a real masterpiece :)
