    A year after the Winter Soldier failed his mission in DC, Bucky Barnes is doing his best to stay under the radar from both Hydra and Steve Rogers. His hope for a peaceful day-to-day life in limbo goes awry, however, when he meets Queens’ newest hero; a pure-hearted kid with a death wish and a ridiculous pair of red and blue pajamas.

    The last thing Steve expects when he finally tracks Bucky down is that, not only has the man been living in Queens all this time, right under his nose, but also that, in the two years since they last saw each other, Bucky somehow acquired a kid.

    Alternatively: How Peter Parker effectively fucks over Bucky Barnes, and also totally saves him.

    Rly rly cute.
    The relationship between Peter and Bucky could have never crossed my mind, at least not in this way if not for this fic, truly great.
    Rly nice relationship between the two, plus others, like Steve and Tony and although the end with Tony was sad and rather "unhappy" doesn't make it any less better.
    Because in real life there r such things, plus fits the character which is Tony way better then had he truly forgiven Bucky for that.
    Not that Bucky would ever forgive himself, but yes.

    Very good writing and interesting story, makes Peter much more then just a vigilante who tries to survive, but also a kid who needs help with handling everything life throws at him like a big wave

    Rly cute fic of Matt and the Avengers. Very going into how Matt sees himself and how he tries to act normal around ppl he rly doesn't trust and who do not trust him.
    Very into talks about all types of different disabilities, I rly liked the ending with Clint and their bonding with no needs for words and understanding

    Literally Peter the Pizza guy who kinds finds his way to become besties with Red hood (while simultaneously trying to get him to stop killing ppl).
    Also Peter goes around fighting (illegaly) against a bunch of roughs and kinda gets busted by the bats who try to put him down.
    Peter IS NOT A FAN OF THE BATS, so far.

    After the world forgot him, Peter kept fighting. He was Spider-Man after all. But as the villains get worse and the heroes dwindle, Peter finally grows tired. Hasn't he done his time? He's never once shirked the responsibility forced upon him. Never once has he put himself first.

    Eventually, the straw breaks the camel's back. Peter finally hangs up the cape.

    Unfortunately the universe seems to disagree. When Peter wakes up in Gotham he knows he should probably find a way home. But what's the point? Normal people don't find their way home across the multiverse, and Peter is normal now. He refuses to be anything else.

    So why do unfamiliar heroes keep ending up on his doorstep? And can he really turn them away?
