I wasn't too happy with how the writers treated Morgan: first, she was this kick-ass lady who read people like books, and then she was this smug b*tch who baited Kent... so I decided to diverge from that canon.
This is tagged as a casefic - which it is - but I used it as a pretext to examine Joe's relationship with Kent, Morgan and Anderson. But especially with Kent...
I borrowed some references from S4 and the plot will make more sense to you if you have watched the show in its entirety. Enjoy!Disclaimer: I am not a therapist, policeman, pathologist, GP, rabbi, detective, etc, so please kindly suspend your disbelief. I have tagged for explicit sex and some of it under-negotiated, but it's ALL CONSENSUAL, and all between Chandler/Kent.
There are plenty of references to real facts of history, art, etc: some are accurate, some are less so...I do not own the characters although I wish I did.

He rolled onto his back with his pistol raised before Din could even blink.
Then Cobb blew out a breath. “Stars above, Mando, you nearly had me there.” He shoved the blaster into his thigh holster and twisted the rest of his body to lie flat on his back before he’d get his feet under him.
Din helped him up the rest of the way, and didn’t budge as Cobb held on to give him a hug.

Hawke can't help but touch things in the Black Emporium, and a pot of enchanted incense shows him the life he could have led with a naughtier Sebastian. ‘Look, all I’m saying,’ Varric seemed to find it necessary to point out again, ‘is that you’re starting to remind me of Xenon. The only thing you don’t have is the urchin…though I’m sure some starry-eyed Fereldan refugee kid might be convinced to volunteer for the role free of charge, once you mentioned you’re the Champion.’

Instead of taking one of the stools, Eddie hops up to sit on the counter next to Steve's elbow, letting his bare feet dangle. He picks up the mug, cradling it in long, ringed fingers and purses his lips to blow across the steaming surface. Steve feels his face heat and looks away. He can't put his finger on it - what changed between them, and when it happened.
He just knows that it did.

His hand tightened over the grip of his pistol as he stepped noiselessly onto the service walkway behind the huge billboard, tracking his target.
