“You alright, Sirius?”
Black nodded, still staring at his breakfast. “Every time I make my cinnamon toast, it reminds me of the Hiroshima victims and I get a bit sad.”
“Warmy and toasty, just like the real thing,” Potter replied with a solemn nod.
Remus was looking at them with his mouth hanging open in utter disgust and slowly began moving his breakfast farther away from the pair.

That was what my father always told me. How can I make him proud? I don’t even know who I was before all of this, just fragments that don’t belong anywhere. Sometimes it feels like I’m being followed by shadows I can’t see, dragging me toward a version of myself I barely recognize. But blood isn’t the only thing that stays, there are people who made me feel real. If this world is still full of monsters then maybe our love is the connection to sever all evil that is resident.

“Any idea where she came from?”
“Victoria’s Secret,” Lobo shot back.
Canine smacked him on the back of the head for the comment, not even looking at him while doing it.
“I wouldn’t jump to conclusions,” Chris said. “Not until they run tests and confirm she’s not carrying anything. You never know what kind of shadow game they might be playing behind our backs.”
A short silence filled the cabin.
“So… if she’s clean, can I get her number?”
This time both Tundra and Canine hit Lobo, one after the other. -
