Death is approaching. Garfield prepares himself for the unknown void that will soon wash over him. His friends and family, if only they didn't have to suffer the fate of watching him turn into an empty husk that will only merely resemble the cat they once knew. Garfield knows it. He knows this is the faith awaiting him.
Jon knows it too. He approaches his own bed, where Garfield lies and holds his paw. The world could not take them away from each other. So, it's hard to believe the grip of death is strong enough to do so. Still, his best friend needs him. And Jon is willing to lend that support... Sadly, things are never that easy. Especially with Garfield.
