If Toge receives a little special attention, well, it’s only natural. They’re third year students now—they pretty much only fight the highest level curses—which means Toge’s throat weathers a lot more backlash. If Yuuta’s always quick to heal him afterwards, it’s only because it hurts Yuuta to see him in pain.

Victor and Yuuri attend Yuri’s exhibition skate only to be totally shocked by his flawless (and somewhat sexual) duo with Otabek. This triggers a series of events which lead to the two sitting in a restaurant, receiving ‘The Talk’ from Victor whilst Yuuri dies of second-hand embarrassment.
"Now, repeat after me, I find repetition is beneficial for remembering things, LUBE IS EVERYTHING.”
His raised voice made Yuuri wince, and he elbowed him sharply. “Victor. Shush.”
Fearing the man would repeat himself in a louder pitch, the two teenagers whispered “Lube is everything.”
“Louder. Enunciate clearer.”

Helpless, hopeless, and understanding that he wasn't going to be getting any more answers from Tsukishima this morning, He stands up and attempts to catch Tsukishima’s surprised eyes in a hard glare. “Fine then! Be that way!”
His sudden yell scratches at his throat uncomfortably. He hates everything about this situation.
The stunned Tsukishima sits on his wooden dining chair, and watches the other stomp his way to their shared room, slamming the door harshly behind him. It almost served as a silencer for the whole world– the birds don't chirp outside the kitchen window anymore, and their neighbours TV can't be heard through their thin walls.
Tsukishima swallows saliva down, thinking about the interaction in a little more detail.
…He might’ve messed up.
In which Tsukishima learns that he can't say that Yamaguchi is too good for him without implying the opposite is also true.

I repeated this until the sink was empty of dishes and the drying rack was so full, I had to play real-life tetris to get everything to fit. Once done, I rinsed out the sink and put the dishwashing liquid away, grabbing a fresh cloth and disinfectant spray.
