Summary
What if what happened to the Gladers happened to Nublar 6? A maze runner au where the Nublar 6 have the main roles of the original characters from the maze runner movie. An au with elements of both tmr x jwcc. What it would be if wckd and jurassic world scientists were combined forces, and dinosaurs on top of grievers?? Maybe even a hybrid mix of the two? Darius has to figure out who sent them into the maze, and why he has a strong urge to become a runner. And why suddenly there is a girl in the maze full of boys? And who is she, and why does she seem so familiar to Darius?

Summary
Starting from episode 8 of Chaos Theory when Darius was in the cabin with Kenji. This story explores Darius Bowmans sexuality with him being on the aromantic asexual spectrum and bisexual. Basically the last three episodes are followed to canon with events except Darius' inner dialogue which I wrote and added myself. I will explore his attraction to Ben in this fic as well as the angst that comes with everything that happened. And the angst that will come with there feelings for each other. Darius will be physically and romantically attracted to Ben, but not sexually. I don't know if that makes sense, but it's kinda how my asexuality works.

“I know,” she whispered, rubbing comforting circles on his back to try and soothe the uneven pattern of his breathing.
She felt, more than saw, Mike shake his head slightly from where it was still hidden against her shoulder, “No you don’t,” he whispered in a broken voice.
Or... Nancy and Mike have a much needed, and long time coming, heart-to-heart before the final battle with Vecna. Mike's emotional mask finally shatters and he confides in Nancy about his struggles and his feelings for Will.

“Here, give me your hands,” he says quickly, already holding his own out toward Will. “I’ll warm them.” He looks at Will a second too intensely, like this matters far more than it should. Robin snorts quietly.
“Oh, thanks Mike,” Will says, flustered. “I’m okay, but maybe—” he fumbles with his coat pockets, distracted, searching for something, finally pulling out a pair of blue gloves. “You might need these. You can have mine.”

Not until he realised the feelings that had been brewing within him for so long. Vecna would have had no interest in him had it not been impossible for him not to fall in love with Will Byers.
OR
Vecna realises that Mike is in love with Will before anyone else, and makes sure to torture him in every way possible. But Will isn’t entirely oblivious, and neither is Nancy.
