Domingo lives.
A sword wound to the chest isn’t easy to shake off, but he lives. Inigo will never have to forge himself into an instrument of vengeance, but steeling himself to take care of Domingo’s wounds isn’t fun either.
(Okay, I’ll stop with the sword puns now.)
(Maybe.)
When Yeste arrives at Arabella, he knows that even if Domingo is still alive, he and Inigo can’t live like this. He takes it upon himself to bring a bedridden Domingo and a stressed and shaken Inigo to Madrid, so they can heal in more ways than one.
But when old grievances are unsheathed and unspoken tensions cut like a blade, Yeste realizes he has more challenge than he bargained for. Hammering this family into a better shape might take a miracle.

Hot and wet, and it’s too dark to tell what it is. He blinks and his knees are sinking into thick mud rather than dry grass. He’s covered in smears of it, his shirt stained dark.
“Tyler?” Josh called, voice distant and… old. Repeated.
Tyler still turns, heart racing.
“Josh?” Tyler gasps, but he’s not there. He hasn’t been in a year. Now, he’s staring at the side of his house, the dead grass Josh was in charge of watering.
