Rose tried her best to do everything right this time. She had Arthur at her side to help unravel her feelings. She happily took the time to really get to know Marie. She willingly opened herself up with the raw honesty she wished she had done so earlier with Arthur. There was still one sticking point that kept rearing its ugly head into their conversations: Entrati. She knew deep down this topic was going to become a pressure point if they were to pursue something more serious.
She just didn’t expect it to erupt the way it did.

What started out as Rose simply wanting us to have some form of correspondence, in case her feelings towards Marie became something much more serious worth exploring, turned into an actual friendship of sorts. She was admittedly pleasant to talk to, our chats reminding me an awful lot of Rose’s initial curiosity with everything in Höllvania. It felt like many of our conversations were actually just both of us trying to wring the other dry of as much information as possible.
I couldn’t say I disliked it.

After getting to talk and know the triad members individually, I realized that the other two also recognized this about the follower of Sol. It made everything so much harder knowing that the ache in my chest and flutters in my stomach were likely me feeling a love of a very particular kind towards her.
