Summary
Alhaitham's books-hoarding situation continued to grow out of control. Kaveh magnanimously decided to offer to build a new house for him, with enough space for his ego and the books too.
This was fine by Alhaitham. And, of course, he wanted it to be a house for two.

On moving out of the old, moving on to the new, and moving forward together.

Summary
Kaveh's eyelashes flutter open. Alhaitham is greeted with the most beautiful shade of maroon red he has ever seen. There's no hostility in Kaveh's gaze, no insecurity. Alhaitham won't have to decode his silence today.
No, Kaveh simply smiles, and then giggles as he tries to spin in Alhaitham's arms.
"Dance with me," Kaveh mumbles, and Alhaitham wraps his arm around his middle a little tighter. "'Haitham, pretend you don't dislike me. Just this once."

Summary
It takes Kaveh a moment to realize that Al-Haitham’s eyes aren’t the only part of him that has gone dark. The tips of his ears peek out between strands of silver hair, tinted a bright red. Streaks of the same color make their way down his neck to where the single green gem sits below his clavicle. Al-Haitham watches, open-mouthed and flushed, as Kaveh slides the cake into the oven and sets a timer. He hovers just by Kaveh’s side, as if he were waiting for him to tell him what to do—or what not to do. Interesting.
“Kaveh,” Al-Haitham repeats, his voice rough, “untie me. Now.”
Kaveh regards him for a moment longer, amused. “Somehow I don’t think that’s what you want,” he says, trailing a teasing finger along Al-Haitham’s forearm. Al-Haitham shivers, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he stands there, rooted to the spot, and stares at Kaveh with dilated pupils. His flush has spread to his face, his cheeks the color of ripe cherries.
When Al-Haitham displays a keen interest in a certain piece of Kaveh’s dendro technology, Kaveh is more than happy to satisfy that interest.

“You’re in the hospital,” she says. “You were in a traffic accident, and–"
“No, I heard that. But–” Wei Ying glances at the extremely pretty man, who’s just staring at him, completely still. His empty hands hover in the air. “I don’t need anyone to take care of me. I just wanna go home."
“You are going home,” Yanli reaches over and tucks his hair behind his ear, giving him a tiny smile. “Don’t worry. Just a few more scans, and then Lan Zhan can take you back."
“Who’s Lan Zhan?” he asks.
The pretty man by his side inhales so sharply Wei Ying feels the air get sucked out of the room.
-
Wei Ying gets in a traffic accident and loses six years of his memories, including meeting and marrying the love of his life. This is the story of how he falls back in love with Lan Zhan: quickly, and inevitably.
Or, my take on one of my favorite tropes.

Summary
“Cerberus, what are you doing?” Neuvillette kept his voice calm and even, as if he was having a normal conversation.
Slowly, Cerberus let go of the figure’s throat and got to his feet, leaving his victim gasping and moaning. The smile on his face was fey, his eyes alight with ice cold fire. “Iudex, what a surprise. I did not expect a visit from you today.”
“I ask you again, Cerberus. What are you doing?”
Cerberus threw a glance down at the prone man next to his boot. “I am administering just punishment to Mister Dougier here, for serious transgressions committed against his fellow residents of the Fortress Méropide.” He met Neuvillette’s gaze, a dangerous glint in his eyes. “As is my right as Duke and master of this place.”Set after Wriothesley's story quest, picking up on the Dougier storyline. Summary
After the events of the Trailblaze mission to Amphoreous, previously closed passages have started opening once more. Strange signals, once previously silenced, are now amplified and sent all across the vast universe.
One such signal is something Firefly had never expected to hear again: A Glamoth distress beacon.
While she's excited, part of her is uncertain. She reaches out to the Astral Express, hoping to confide in Stelle, but should have known she would want to come along to help. Now, with both group's blessings, both the Express and Stellaron Hunters unite to help Firefly discover a part of herself and the past she thought lost to the ages - hoping for maybe a clue to her condition or a lead to a potential cure, if she's lucky.
However, Glamoth had many secrets, and this one might have been better left unknown.

“Alright then. Would you be interested if I told you I had a dom in mind for you? He’s into men, experienced as a dom, clean, and enjoys training subs. Sound somewhat appealing?”
“Those are only the vaguest of descriptors,” Neuvillette replies. “While they meet the superficial requirements, I know nothing of his demeanor. Perhaps I wouldn’t be attracted to him.”
“Hell, Neuvillette,” Wriothesley says with a laugh. “I’m offering myself.”
Neuvillette wants to experience a BDSM relationship. Wriothesley is more than willing to help him. Neither of them are interested in catching feelings.

Summary
Everything Aventurine said and did was to elicit another response with which he could construct his profile on Dr. Veritas Ratio. Naturally, Veritas left their first interaction as quickly as he could for his own safety.
But he slept with Aventurine a week later.
After Aventurine is hospitalized, Dr. Veritas Ratio moves to the Intelligentsia Guild’s Pier Point location to monitor his recovery. There, Veritas learns two things:
1) He might need help navigating the social circles in Pier Point.
2) A fully recovered Aventurine of Stratagems is a force to be reckoned with.Series

‘He doesn’t even work for the IPC,’ Aventurine tries again, one last time. ‘Why should he have to do this?’
Jade is already on the phone with someone else. She spares him a look, before covering the speaker with one hand. ‘Then we will make sure to thank the good doctor for lending us his expertise.’
Expertise? Aventurine almost laughs out loud.
In which Ratio is sent on a honeypot mission, and Aventurine is none too pleased about it.

Summary
Alone in a research center, surrounded by books and stacks of notes, Alhaitham and Kaveh break ground together.
Kaveh urges himself to relax, but his heart quakes in his chest. Instead of feeling Alhaitham’s lips, he feels the weight of where they’re going to land, speeding closer, closer, closer.
Alhaitham pulls back, nudging his nose against Kaveh’s. “Are you still thinking about research?”
“N-no,” Kaveh says. “I—I’m thinking about you, obviously. Or, I mean, us. And…” He swallows and takes another shaky breath. “This.”
“This,” Alhaitham repeats, his fingers tracing a circle over the loose shirt that covers Kaveh’s hip.

Are you gloating? Are you trying to get me to leave? Kaveh wanted to ask. Do you even care?
But that was the whole point, wasn’t it? That Al-Haitham did care. That was why he found out what he did about Sachin and Kaveh’s father, and it was Kaveh who had to come to terms with the fact that he’d been wrong.
Do you regret staying with me?
Kaveh swallowed. “Even…even that. I do not regret it.”

Summary
“Ratio?” he asks, stepping a bit closer. “It’s me, Aventurine. Are you… do you want to go home?”
At the mention of his name, Ratio stills, a light startle in his step as he turns to face Aventurine. He drops his hands, lacing them back together in front of him. He looks dazed, normal intensity lost from his eyes as they open glassy and vacant. They flex wide with recognition, but he doesn’t say anything.
Ratio goes quiet, and Aventurine doesn't know what to do.

Summary
People keep coming up to Kaveh to congratulate him. Kaveh doesn’t really know why, and he’s a little too scared to ask at this point, so he heads back home, content if not a little bemused.
He is, unfortunately, reminded of it the very next day, when the door slams open and Al-Haitham stalks in. “Mind telling me why everyone was congratulating me today?” he demands. “About your pregnancy?"
Or: Al-Haitham is, without a doubt, the most annoying person Kaveh knows. Maybe the world’s second-most annoying person can help Kaveh figure him out.

Summary
“I didn’t know you were capable of such things," Kaveh said. He coughed into his fist. "Of love.”
“Of course I am," Alhaitham answered.
Something in Kaveh's gaze softened, then, and his lips curved into a small smile. "Yes," he muttered. "Of course you are."
Alhaitham observes Kaveh using all five senses, and comes to a logical conclusion (5+1 of a sort)

Summary
His glass of water clinks against the clay coaster he keeps on the side table, and red ink stares angrily up at him from the book resting on his knee:
‘Thoughts?’ he asks, like it’s out of innocent curiosity. Really, Al-Haitham? You want to know my thoughts?
Fine. You asked for it. Here’s a thought:
Fuck you.
Al-Haitham feels his lips pull up into a smile.
In retrospect, starting a philosophical argument in the margins of an ancient poetry book might be one of the best ideas Al-Haitham has ever had.

“Kaveh,” he confirms. “He is renowned in his line of work for his skill and passion.”
Lord Kusanali nods as if he had proved one of her silent queries. “I was hoping he would lend me a hand with this project,”
“I’m sure he would be honored,” he says earnestly.
She smiles, cheeks dimpling. “Do you really think so?”
Alhaitham smiles back, small, easy. “I know him quite well."

Summary
When Kaveh discovers that Alhaitham has been reading a book about human sexuality and kinks, he generously offers to assist Alhaitham with some sexual exploration. It’s a risky proposal, and one that could end very badly—thanks to their falling-out years ago, the two of them have trust issues galore.
But it turns out that Kaveh and Alhaitham are surprisingly good at trust and communication when it comes to sex…which raises some questions about the nature of their relationship, and where exactly this whole experiment is leading them.
“Look,” Kaveh says, “if you’re going to approach sexual pleasure like an experiment, most potential partners won’t take too kindly to the idea of you having sex with them for science. Therefore, to spare all the poor people you’d inevitably insult in your quest for data, I am willing to be that person.”
“How charitable of you,” Alhaitham says.
“And I assume that you’re somewhat comfortable with the idea of having sex with me,” Kaveh adds, “or else you wouldn’t have been so willing to have my fingers in your mouth just now.”

Summary
This time, it’s not Neuvillette who wants to try something new. It’s not Neuvillette venturing tentative overtures regarding something he read about or overheard, asking Wriothesley to open his eyes to a new experience.
This time, it’s Wriothesley who wants. Fuck, he wants so bad, and he’s usually so good at asking for what he wants. Life is short and there are no do-overs or second chances. If you don’t grab what you want, it escapes you. But when want braids together with vulnerability, his tongue grows thick in his mouth, and he struggles.
Wriothesley asks Neuvillette to spank him.

Summary
“Let me ask you, then,” Alhaitham said, wiping his hands on a handkerchief. “Why do the old Sumerian literary classics concern you, who is neither a scholar of linguistics nor involved in any business revolving around literature? I can’t help but wonder why you would choose to pick a fight with me about a topic I have spent many hours studying when you have not.”
Kaveh huffed out a breath of air. “It’s really quite simple. An aptitude for linguistics doesn’t translate seamlessly to an adequate understanding of literature, as much as you make it seem like it does. Literature is not just words on a page to be analyzed in a sterile environment. Literature is art. Unlike you, I have an eye for the details, a sense for romance, and there is quite a bit of that buried in the old scrolls that you Haravatat types like to overlook.”
Alhaitham felt his lips pull into a smile. “Go on then. Give me one example.”
During Alhaitham and Kaveh’s shared lunchbreak, an academic debate goes a little overboard.
