Chapter Text
Amity stormed out of the school.
So many years, so much effort, time and energy that she had put into being the best at everything she did... All for Willow and her abomination farce to ruin everything in a matter of minutes!
She was well aware that the way she treated Willow wasn't the best, and she could see why she would want to get back at her. What's more, she would say that she had given Willow plenty of reasons... But she had gone too far.
She trembled at the mere thought of how her mother might react to learning that, for at least two hours, her daughter hadn't been the best in class.
And what punishment had Willow and her abomination received? Well, a pat on the back and congratulations from Principal Bump, of course!
She knew that, in a way, this was to her benefit. Now that Willow had moved to another class, she wouldn't have to see her as often. She wouldn't have to be unnecessarily cruel to her to keep up appearances. Which, though she would never admit it, was a relief. Maybe that would help her see herself in the mirror without feeling ashamed on those days when her conscience and her past tormented her.
But that human-abomination-thing! She hadn't done anything to her! What was she doing getting into her life to ruin everything?
Just thinking about her caused Amity's blood to start boiling. Where had she come from? Why had she had to infiltrate her school? What was she doing making a mess of her class, saying stupid things like a-mommy-nation?
She tried to calm down. Trying to convince herself that everything was back to normal. Her star had hung back on her chest, where it belonged. Professor Hermonculus was just as outraged as she was that Willow could switch to the track she wanted without retaliation, so he probably wouldn't tell anyone, and Principal Bump was always discreet about everything he did, so it was very unlikely that her parents would find out about all the caos that had happened that day. And the human had been banned from Hexside, so Amity wouldn't have to see her or her ugly round ears again or put up with her stupid jokes ever again. In the end, everything had worked out.
But Amity Blight wasn't one to let things go so easily. That human better not get in her way again.
