Summary
Leon had always been stubborn by nature, tenacious and hard-headed and never one to back down. His growing issues with authority had only strengthened the problem, leaving him irritable and liable to snap. It manifested itself as a sort of tug-of-war between him and his unwelcome guest, always edging away from whatever the Plagas wanted in an almost instinctual motion.
He didn’t want to be difficult, but it was the only way he knew how to deal with that loss of control. The Plagas couldn’t cajole him with pain, he was far too resilient to that, nor was it allowed to physically damage him.
Thus, it developed a new plan of attack.

Summary
He undid the latch, hauntingly loud in his empty apartment, and the hinges creaked as it opened. Saved from the dust that had settled atop the box, the pages were still crisp and white, utterly pristine besides little marks where they’d been folded, or curled edges from reading them again and again.
‘To my dearest Leon,’ one read, the standard print of the font somehow filled with all the intent it didn’t show.
‘Sincerely, with love,’ read the bottom, ‘A.W.’
The edges crinkled where his fingers had clenched too hard; he was shaking.

Wesker rested a hand on his head, watching his eyes blink languidly with feverish delusions. He enjoyed the glazed energy of his gaze, the absent stare as he sat quietly and obediently despite his discomfort.
Still, something was missing.
Adoration. Trust. The absence of fear. Everything he’d wanted to give him from the start.
He grasped Leon’s chin with a gentle hand, examining him with a thoughtful gaze. Tired and sick, the boy whined, calling out wordlessly for someone he knew.

Summary
After the canon events of RE2, Leon is blackmailed into working for the US government. He's assigned to training where he meets Major Jack Krauser, the combat instructor who has decided to make Leon's life a living hell. But at least he gets to keep his hair. When Leon confronts his superior officer, the truth comes out.

An emotionally struggling Leon S. Kennedy discovers a better way to cope with suicidal thoughts and PTSD than alcohol that may or may not include satisfying his daddy issues and innate need for his superior officer's approval while an emotionally constipated and stubborn Jack Krauser who refuses to accept his own sexuality gains a soft spot for a rookie on paper before he ever sets eyes on him and hates himself, and Leon, for it because it opens him up to weakness.
This fic serves as the prequel to a longer Chris/Leon fic currently being written. This particular prequel will focus completely on Metaltango (Krauser/Leon.) The main story following this one will feature RE8Chris/RE4Leon as well as the short lived whirlwind romance of Leon/Luis.

“C’mon, you should recognize those,” Chris provided helpfully. There even was a small blush dusting his cheeks as he wasn’t entirely sure how the present would be received, but he covered it up by just flashing a cocky smirk and playing it off as half a joke. “You were a cop.”
“Yeah, for a day,” Leon countered, as he pulled the handcuffs from the box. They clearly weren’t from the police station but from a sex shop, judging by the kind of glittery pink padding that they had on them. “And the standard issue doesn’t have this pink fluff on them, I think,” he added after a beat. He still wasn’t entirely sure what to make of this, though, so he frowned and looked up at Chris. “You want to handcuff me?”
