Cold, isolating and hostile. That was The Sanctuary. It was no home but it provided. Or rather, other communities did. Either way he was eating and that was all that mattered. What really made it worth staying at was Negan, his leather clad leader.

Set around Season 6, 7 and 8. Will possibly exclude All Out War in order to focus on the relationship between the protagonist and Negan. Just taking this a chapter at a time so could go in any direction really.

This was created from a snippet posted on my splatter board. After Mary died John fell deep into the bottle. During this time he meets Kate, who doesn't really like Dean. Dean was kicked out of his home when he was just about to start high school due to his now useless status of older brother. Now three years later he's being tested for his classification. He did not know what he was going to become but he prayed that whatever it was...would get him off the streets and in a better place. Classified as a little, Dean's now faced with a whole new world that's terrifying and even more scary with John's voice in the back of his head. Dean's Papa and Dada trying to put the pieces back together for their little boy while giving him everything he could ever want. Summary
In The Avengers, Natasha Romanova says "Love is for children." It's an expression of life as she knows it, and fits the harsh background most of the Avengers have experienced. Trouble is, people don't do very well without love. In particular it's impossible to form a good team if the members don't care about each other.
So Phil Coulson comes up with a teambuilding exercise to resolve that problem. If love is for children ... then he'll arrange that experience for them. The result is an exploration of nonsexual ageplay to allow a group of very powerful, very broken people to patch up some of the gaps in their lives.
Most of the stories are very sweet in tone and make for good comfort reading. However, canon gives these characters some very unpleasant pasts, and that comes up as they process the aftermath. So the tone does vary, and some stories are more intense than others. They deal with different characters, relationships, and sensitive issues.
Some folks have avoided this series for fear that it goes into sexual territory; it doesn't. Same with embarrassment, very low on that.
